Simple questions:

Is there a way to make Excel 3.0 turn off gridlines by default when I create
a new spreadsheet?

And has anyone written a simple autorun macro which makes Excel start WITHOUT
creating a Sheet1?  (I wrote one for Excel 2.1, but haven't updated it for
3.0).
