Can the NCD terminal handle OpenWindows? What about font support? Anything strange with this? ii. The NCDs are supposed to have a local 'Motif-like' windows manager. Would that have any problems running clients from the Sparc 2? iii. Has anyone done this? iv. Can three NCDs with 8 Bytes each be hooked up to a Sparcstation 2 that has 64 Mbytes? These terminals will be used mainly by people who are doing simple terminal connections and simple graphics. v. Any suggestions to improve the performance of such a system? Thanks in advance for any and all information. Please email to the address below, and I will post a summary. -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jonathan Foley | email: foley@meteor.wisc.edu | Center for Climatic Research and ------------------------------- Department of Atmospheric & Oceanic Sciences University of Wisconsin 1225 West Dayton Street (608) 262-0794 Madison, WI 53706 - United States (608) 262-2839 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
