I've found out about this Alarm call error message with Xtank.  It is being 
generated by a signal SIGALRM.  Can someone tell me if this is a OS, C, or 
Machine call?  I've found the call to SIGALRM in a program called 
icounter.c, but not being a C programmer, I don't know what it's doing, or
how to work around it.  I know a little about C and can get around.
