Is this the right place to ask questions for a beginner in
X Windows Programming?  Or is there an alternate newsgroup?

I've decided to get into X programming this summer instead
of doing Windows 3.0 programming.  Would like to have names
of books, references on Intro to X progr. that are cheaper
than the O'Reillys series! :)
