Sun 4, OS 4.1.1, MIT xdm, one X terminal (Tektronix?).

One of our machines is having problems with xdm suddenly going hog wild
and chewing up almost all available CPU cycles.  Killing/restarting xdm
doesn't solve the problem - we've needed to reboot.

Anyone recognize the problem?  We've recently joined the internet, but
I don't believe name service has been brought up on that machine.
