     I notice that some tools seem to break when XFILESEARCHPATH is set
(incorrectly) in my environment.  I further notice that it has some strange
little escapes in when set by the openwin startup script, things like %T,
%N and %s.  While the X and xfontsel man pages reference XFILESEARCHPATH,
I cannot find a description of this variable and what it should be set to.

    Can anyone enlighten me as to how this variable should be set, and what
the escape sequences mean?
