How about the VPI JR with the Sumiko Premier MMT tonearm. That's the
setup I have (with Denon DL-160) and I am very pleased with it. THe
cost new (for the whole deal, setup) was right around $1k. I love this
machine. It is incredibly simple to deal with. To put the icing on the
cake, my wife bought me a VPI record cleaning machine. I think I'll
keep her. Steve
