I have seen a number of articles on rec.audio.high-end criticizing the
problems that CD players, being new technology, have.  Since I am in the
market for a CD player, could someone knowledgeable comment on models or
specific hardware I should look for?  For example:

what is the MASH 1-bit D/A conversion?

Is this better than oversampling?

I'm not interested in a bunch of whistles and bells in a player. Just
fidelity.
