(WSO is a required crew member) One of our pilots came from the Fresno ANG as a back seater which used to fly F-4's before there conversion to the F-16's. He said he went through the AF Navigator school and then on to some specialized tactics/weapons school. For him to begin flying with us he had to go back through Pilot Training (UPT or UPT-H) in order to receive his Aeronautical Orders to fly. He did say though that most of the flights with the older pilots he unofficially logged more flying time than the pilot did, depending on the mission.
