Brief description

Applicants are invited to apply for a Quota Award
in Computational Biology.  The work will entail the
development of rapid interpretive systems in the
fields of enzyme kinetics and metabolic control
analysis.  It is envisaged that the project will
make extensive extensive use of neural nets and other
systems of adaptive inference within the interpretive system.

The work is most suitable for a graduate in Computer Science
or Mathematics.  Supervision would be given jointly by
the Department of Computer Science and the Department
of Biological Sciences.  Prior expertise in biological
systems is not assumed. Some knowledge of mathematics and
computation is desirable.
