I am considering using such a reagent to remove contaminating bacterial DNA in Taq Polymerase preps. Or is there already a fail-safe method out there in Netland. I have considered the UV method but apparently it only reduces Taq activity instead of inactivating all of the contaminating DNA. Any suggestions would be appreciated. So long, farewell. ******************************************************************** Douglas Prasher * prasher@hyatt.whoi.edu Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution * 508-457-2000 ext 2311 Biology Department * FAX: 508-457-2195 Woods Hole, MA 02543 * ********************************************************************
