Keywords: looking for papers, code, ideas, help! Message-ID: <21383@brahms.udel.edu> Date: 15 May 91 02:32:25 GMT Organization: UofD Lines: 11 I was looking through some of my old papers and found an interesting one talking about (I quote), "Other programs developed at Yale can scan a newspaper article, summarize the major points, and then update the summary daily as new details unfold in the press." I read the passage in the article "Intelligent Machines" by Thomas Hoover, 1979. Anyone know of any code, papers, ideas, help on writing or obtaining a program that is able to parse articles and build a continual summary from them? Perhaps there are other programs out there in existence that do this kind of thing? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! - Mike Almquist (almquist@brahms.udel.edu)
