I believe that you are expecting too much from "tech support" they are not part of the development staff. I think that they could do much better but they aren't paid what you are paid and if they were obviously the cost for tech support would go up. How do you handle it in your company ? If a user of one of your systems doesn't understand something do you personally take the calls or do you have a staff to handle it so that you can do more productive things with your time ? Would that member of your staff know every intricasy of the product like you do ? tom
