We've recently installed a copy of Brown University's ENCORE
oodbms but we're having problems getting it to run. If any other ENCORE
users can offer any advise it'd be much appreciated!

Specifically, the problem is:

We get the server running as per the instructions:

	OBSdaemon OBSserver &

Which returns a couple of port numbers which it listens on.

Then we set the binder going

	OBSbinder -n <one of the port numbers> $OBS

So far so good, but then we try to create the database file:

	createdb <file name>

but we get the error message

	"couldn't open debug file..."

We've done the obvious things like making sure the privileges on the 
binder.debug file are set ok but now we're stuck!

Any ideas?
