I am looking for a UNIX database development package to begin using
for real estate management and reservations.  Please offer any
guidance to the following questions.

I am running ISC 2.2 with X11R4.

1.  Do any database vendors yet offer X-window interfaces?
2.  Whose package would you recommend to a novice SQL and 4GL
programmer? (Assuming you would recommend one of these languages)
3.  Who offers a programming interface such as Accell?
4.  Whose package would be easiest to pull together some basic
applications?


I can program in LISP and C.  I would be learning the database language.

Contact names and numbers for the various vendors would be greatly
appreciated.
