I am seriously considering the purchase of the faxmodem from Neuron Data that does SLIP and supports *many* protocols for fax and data at 9600 baud and above. Before I spend a lot of money, I would like to hear from users (satisfied or otherwise). I will be using it with the old cube for now that will be eventually (and I hope within the next three-to-six months) upgraded to color with NeXTDimension. Since the specs sound really good for the modem, I am eager to get one, but would like to hear about experiences of users. If you have some other suggestion for a modem (>= 9600 and fax) that supports SLIP/PPP on a Sun 3/80 I would appreciate hearing about it too. Thanks very much. govind T.
