Message-ID: <24813@well.sf.ca.us> Date: 16 May 91 06:39:48 GMT Distribution: comp Lines: 17 I have a client who is buying an application that runs on top of Autocad, and he needs to buy the appropriate hardware for it. I was wondering what kind of hardware is best, specifically: Is EISA any help? Is any Unix version faster the DOS version? How much faster will it run with a 486 instead of a 386? How good is the Mac version? Is there a video card that has a particularly fast driver available? How good is the Seiko 20" monitor, and which ones are better? If this is the wrong news group, somebody please tell me, and I will post to the correct one. Al Fontes al@well.sf.ca.us uunet!apple!well!al
