Summary: Are there graphics conversion packages for PCs? Message-ID: <1991May18.033826.18476@midway.uchicago.edu> Date: 18 May 91 03:38:26 GMT Sender: news@midway.uchicago.edu (NewsMistress) Distribution: na Organization: Dept. of Mathematics, Ohio University Lines: 20 A colleague of mine uses TeX on his ibmpc clone, using arbortex and pctex. Both of these packages come with \special commands that allow printing of graphics in pcl format. However, our scanner only creates graphics in various flavors of tiff (there are apparently several versions) and something called "pcx" format. Does anyone know of a package (preferably shareware or public domain, though recommendations for commercial packages may also help) that converts from tiff to pcl and/or pcs to pcl? Thanks! --Walter _____________________________________________________________________________ Walter Carlip **** carlip@ace.cs.ohiou.edu **** (the "3" is invisible) **** c3ar@finite.chi.il.us **** _____________________________________________________________________________
