It is possible to connect LCD-shutter glasses to an EGA or VGA display
to show real 3D images. The only problem is to change display between
each horizontal retrace period (ie. 60 times in a second in VGA). It
should be possible to alternate EGA display pages or VGA color palette
fast enough. Detailed plans for Mac are available at funic.funet.fi in
anonymous ftp directory  mac/ ...3D ... something.
