But that's not important right now. Lines: 24 Category 1, Topic 8 Message 58 Sat May 11, 1991 D.POPE7 [Dan Pope] at 01:38 EDT I'm a K-12 educator in Michigan with no formal computer training other than a semester of FORTRAN in the early 60's (actually it was mostly keypuch experience as I remember). I put together a Heathkit H-8 in 1978, moved to an Apple IIe and recently acquired a PC clone. I teach LOGO and Basic to middle school students. I've been dabbling in Forth for a couple of years and intend to get serious about learning it real-soon- now; I'm intrigued by its elegance and simplicity. I've worked up some programs (in LOGO) that allow severely physically handicapped students to draw graphics and control appliances with a chin switch and would like to try some of this stuff with Forth eventually. Other interests include raising kids, ham radio (WB8BHP/qrp), beekeeking, bicycling, clarinet and bass fishing. My favorite philosopher is Woody Allen. ----- This message came from GEnie via willett.
