I have a question concerning the way elm treats the use of the .localsig file instead of the .sig file: The point why I ask is the following: It seems that elm only uses the .local file if the other person uses the same machine. But I would like to have elm using the .local file for user difineable (is this mispelled?) machines. I.e. I can define - let's say 20 - hosts, where elm uses the .localfile, even if those hosts are NOT in the same net... I would appreciate this feature because I am German and I have a German as well as an English .sig file. Now I would like to use the German .sig file for a number of servers I communicate with, even though they might be in Swizerland, or so... Perhaps anyone could help me...anyhow thanks a whole lot... I hope you've got me, Gerhard. PS: Sorry for my English.. -- +---------------------------< principiis obsta! >---------------------------+ | Gerhard Moeller, Teichstrasse 12, 2900 Oldenburg (FRG) [Geb. 02/21/68] | | inhouse: gimli!gemoe uucp: ...(unido!)uniol!gmoeller | |DOMAIN: gerhard.moeller@arbi.informatik.uni-oldenburg.de | |BITNET: gmoeller%arbi.informatik.uni-oldenburg.de@DOLUNI1 (106495@DOLUNI1) | +-----------------------> the medium is the message <-----------------------+
