Help! I just got PC minix v1.5 and am failing to get it to boot. The
system I am trying to use it on is the folowing:
 
 True Blue IBM PC 5150
 Kouwei KW-530D High Density disk controller
 Paradise VGA Plus card
 Novell Star NIC card
 Western Digital WDXT-GEN2 Plus card
 1.2 5 1/2 drive (disk 0)
 360k 5 1/2 drive (disk 1)
 2 20 meg MFM hard drives
 
 What's happening is as follows:
 
 I boot with disk 1 (PC Boot) and get to the boot screen. I switch disks
to disk 4 (using the 1.2 meg drive as a 360) and load the ram disk. It
says "Remove root disk" and then stops.
 
 Scenerio 2 has me trying using fd1 as the root system (the 360 drive)...
it says "cannot read track 2/1" (or something like that) and then gets
around to a file system panic. Wierd, cause the 360 works just great for
DOS.
 
 Scenerio 3 has me using the root disk directly in drive 0 (not RAM disk)
in which case it says "switch to /usr disk" and when I do lists off about
5 things it's trying to do and most of them say things like "no shell
present", etc.
 
Help!!!!
