Message-ID: <2805@sumax.seattleu.edu> Date: 17 May 91 16:35:51 GMT Organization: Seattle University, Seattle, WA Lines: 16 I have Minix 1.3 and am trying to mount hd2 on a Winchester 42Meg hard drive (partition 2 which is 32Meg). I first have mount disk drive b: (at1), and then when I create hd2, all seems okay, though df doesn't show it there, just ram, fd0, at1, but when I try to /etc/mount /dev/hd2 /one for instance it gives the error message: mount not found. I know this is a preliminary problem from a beginner's angle... though this newsgroup is made up of beginners/intermediate level and high level of users. It's fair to come from any of those level I trust. I have tried to be responsible and read all of the ftp site papers I could find as well as the frequently asked questions post here. Thank you. -- - - - - - - - - - Chuck Boyer, ITS, Seattle University boyer@sumax.seattleu.edu - - - - - - - - -
