Looking through mail order company ads containing color printers, I've 
seen the HP PaintJet and the PaintJet XL listed at radically different
prices.  Would someone explain to me the difference between these models?

Also, how good is the output from these?  Does the sharpness compare to
dot-matrix, DeskJet, LaserJet, or what?  What's the average cost per
page printed?  And are these the best color printers in their price range,
or are there others worth considering for color hardcopy output from a PC?
