The PCs have a 3278/79 card and run 3270 Emulation, enabling them to toggle between PC and Mainframe. Trial: -Novell network running version 3.1, 486 server, using the same Token Ring. -The application being trialed is very memory hungry. -Expected number of workstations will be approx 16. The PCs on the Novell Network need access to the Mainframe with out using an additional link (Coax). I understand from various suppliers that a Gateway will provide the best solution, as it uses 106k per workstation. Is there anything better? Thanks for any info/comments supplied. -- john@actrix.gen.nz
