Hi,
	I'm a honours student at La Trobe University Australia and I am
	working on a distributed CASE system that requires the use of a
	protocol for RPC's and to transmitt CASE diagrams ( eg Data
	flow diagrams , ER diagrams etc ) and textual information
	between different components of the system. Rather than develop
	a new protocol I am looking for suggestions of existing
	protocols that may be suitable.

	Also I am looking for good references etc, and general
	comments.

	Any input would be greatly appreciated.
