Message-ID: <1991May15.054228.23511@ux1.cso.uiuc.edu> Date: 15 May 91 05:42:28 GMT Sender: usenet@ux1.cso.uiuc.edu (News) Reply-To: Paul-Pomes@uiuc.edu Organization: University of Illinois at Urbana Lines: 14 I am installing the Berkeley Packet Filter code shipped with tcpdump on a VAX-3500 with 4.3 BSD-reno. The difficulty is putting the DELQA into promiscuous mode. A DEC technical rep made mention of a special setup packet that must be sent to the board to enable said function (no csr stuffing). Question: Can anyone with a DELQA user's guide send me the format of said packet? Better yet, is there a patched if_qe.c module already done somewhere? Thanks. /pbp -- Paul Pomes, Computing Services Office University of Illinois - Urbana
