I never had any problems. You probably have a parity error. You might also check the memory configuration. If it is set wrong, you might be accessing memory that doesn't exist. I would reccomend using QA-PLUS, a commercial diagnostics program. You can use it to check for IRQ/DMA conflicts, and it does a very good memory check. If you have to do multiple passes, it can be a bit slow (overnight), but it will find problems.
