We have one DEC system set up as a broadcast server, and most other systems are broadcast clients. I've got one SPARCstation 1+ running SunOS 4.1 that stubbornly refuses to be a broadcast client. It runs fine when peered a few other systems, but as a broadcast client all I ever get from xntpdc is: xntpdc> peers ***Server reports data not found I've got exactly the same xntp binaries on other SS1+'s under 4.1 running just fine as bcast clients. None of the Sun run NIS, and I just got the recalcitrant machine running the resolver, but that had no effect. Any ideas? -- Dave Sill (de5@ornl.gov) It will be a great day when our schools have Martin Marietta Energy Systems all the money they need and the Air Force Workstation Support has to hold a bake sale to buy a new bomber.
