I need a parser to parse a def(5) file. def(5) is a Design Exchange Format defined and copyrighed by Cadence and used for example by the tool ``Gate Ensemble''. I would like to get a complete yacc-lex based scanner to be able to analyze the def(5) output of Gate_Ensemble. The grammar must implement the complete def(5) syntax of Gate_Ensemble Version 2.0. 2. I need a C function library to read and! write gdsII files. They should be able to understand Version 6 of gdsII. Currently, we have to support SUN386i (yes we have to!), SUN3, SUN4, APOLLO/DOMAIN, DECstation, VAX/VMS. I hope that someone out there has already such tools, as otherwise I have to write them :-( .
