My setup was an A2000HD with 3 megs. No combination of INITs or CDEVs seemed to affect the problem. I had other problems with MultiFinder too, so I just turned it off and lived without it. When I got my A2630, I had 7 megs and turned MultiFinder back on. Since then it has been working perfectly. I believe the problem was too little RAM, but I'm not sure. MultiFinder is a RAM hog - 3 megs is a borderline amount to be running it in, especially if you have a large System file with lots of DA's and fonts.
