You don't have to trick Dpaint III into doing super-bitmaps.  You
just get yourself version 3.25 and then set the page size to whatever
you little heart desires (or RAM can handle) and off you go!  In
fact, Deluxe Paint III supports screen *much* larger than 1024x1024.
