Message-ID: Date: 14 May 91 09:31:04 GMT Sender: @minyos.xx.rmit.oz.au Distribution: comp Organization: RMIT Computer Centre, Melbourne Australia. Lines: 23 preferred mode of response: email. I am hoping to program on the amiga. ( i have an a2000 w. no extras as yet) As well as simple text-based programs, i would like to be able to write code that uses the wundaful abilities of the amiga. I am already a proficient C programmer, and would prefer a vi- or emacs-based editor, but if there's something out there that blows these alternatives away, i'd like to know about it. Pls include PD as well as commercial products in your recommendations. _most_ important to me at the moment are the manuals. I need suggestions for: - appropriate amiga reference manuals. - a compiler. - a text editor. - anything else? thanx in advance. gus. -- angus@godzilla.cgl.rmit.oz.au
