The crystal is clocked faster, plus the cpu chip is faster and the floating point chip becomes a 68882 instead of a 68881. These are not user-replaceable parts. > 2. You can add almost anybody's 3.5" SCSI drive in one of the 2 additional drive bays in the A3000 case. 5 1/4" drives can go into an expansion case. There is an external SCSI port on the A3000. > 4. Which DOS ROMs will I find in a new A3000/25-50? 2.0X ? You'll find Kickstart images on the hard drive; one with 2.0x (probably 2.02 or 2.03) and another with 1.3. You can select from either of these via a boot menu.
