Too insecure to answer it, 2. Doesn't know enough about it, 3. Or too Enthusiastic that he exagerates, 4. Too mad that he cuts me down. Some of you may remember me awhile back poking down on CBM's shoulder about the new deal. (Turn in the VIC 20 anula and get a 3000 16/50 for 1800 dollars) Well, all I have to say is that I didn't mean to say that I was anti-amiga (which anyone on the local BBS's will tell you otherwise) just that I was very mad at CBM Exec's for pulling something like that on me. Now back to Programming: ---------------------- In AREXX part 10-15 of the CBM AMIGA 3000 manual, a small correction: say "Your final grade for this student is...f" is really suppost to be: say "Your final grade for this student is..."f === After taking pascal and many years of Basic, I began looking at this bit of code and said "Can this be, true programming?" This reminds me of the BABY crying program from THE C-64 short manual. Did anyone ever get it to work? === Well, anyways. 2.01 is not as compatible as I would like, but you developers should assume 2.01 before you go off saying things like OH it has to be 99% compatible. Well it isn'there in 2.01 land. And then we have the Bigot's who say "Well if they want to write code that doesn't follow the rules they diserve to die". I know, and exageration right? Well how do you think it sounds to those who poured there time into it. They are probably thinking "You know, if I started writing for Brand X I could really make a ton of money and ace these turkeys, much more I would forget about Amiga's, who needs em" We need all the help we can get, and having a sh*t *ss atitude about it will not improve the situation any.
