	I have just aquired a 1040 st and for some reason, it fails
the ram test for the next 512k bank.

	I have 3 questions :

	- What could cause this ( besides the fact that I might not  have
	  an extra 512k in the machine )

	- Is there an earlier version of the 520 st that looks like 
	  the 1040 st ( the logo on my 1040 looks 'strange' )

	- Is there a fool-proof ram test prg. that I can use to make
	  sure I am not seeing things( I am using a pd version
	  right now )

Any replies or hints are welcome .
