Lines: 5 I don't think I said all chips inside STe were made in Japan. The famous new DMA chips are made in Taiwan. The GALs in there are custom made chips with relatively few transistors. Not to be confused with ordinary GALs which can be treated by hobbyists like EPROMs. Y. Tsuji.
