I would never ask such a brutal question if my hp28S wasn't broken,... it says "4 FAIL" upon self-test. So my last hope is to find the usual loose wire inside, but how to *get* inside ??? HP's standard service fees for repairing the 28 here in Germany are so way out of bounds that I'd rather throw it away than having it fixed (for the equivalent of about $180 !!!). Does anybody know what "4 FAIL" means ? (Actually it's "5 FAIL if I try the "step-by-step-selftest" (the one that requires input from the keyboard). Any ideas are highly appreciated.
