As far as I can tell, we've not had a "documentation index".  We did
have something once called a "documentation roadmap".  It was a list of
most of the HP-UX manuals, their part numbers, and a brief description
of each manual.  The equivalent today is the "Finding Information"
manual (actually 2 different manuals depending on whether you want 300/400
or 600/800 info). The part numbers for 8.0 version of these manuals are:

     Finding Information (Series 300/400)..... B1862-90001
     Finding Information (Series 600/800)..... B2437-90001


As of 8.0, information about our documentation is in two additional
places online:

   * In the file "/usr/newconfig/8.0ReleaseNote".

   * A new "manuals" manpage that can be accessed via "man manuals" or
     in section 5 of the printed version of the "HP-UX Reference".

Not sure what manuals you're referring to here.  Couldn't find any
manuals in the list with titles close to what you've got above.

This is listed in the sources I mentioned above.  The 8.0 part number
is B1864-90006.

We're working on it.  To summarize, the following sources should help
you find the manual(s) you're looking for in 8.0:

   * "Finding Information" manual
   * "Master Index" manual
   * "/usr/newconfig/8.0ReleaseNote" file
   * "manuals" manpage (also in section 5 of the "HP-UX Reference")
