Last time I talked to the "factory", the word I got was that 8.0 for the 800s had passed quality control, but someone put a hold on distribution. No firm date for shipment, but expected within the month. However, 8.0 for the 300s had some serious trouble, and would ship at least 8 weeks after the 800 version.
