Its performance has been slowly degrading, to the point where my friends consider it unusable (although I manage to get by :-). So I'm considering buying an optical mouse to replace it. Here's the problem: my current mouse is a bus mouse with a 9-pin circular connector (it plugs into my ATI VGAWonder card), but the mouse I'm looking at buying is a 9-pin serial mouse. Is there a simple cable out there to convert the serial connector into a circular one? Actually, if I had the pinouts I'd be tempted to hack the ends off of both mice and swap them. Any advice? -- Eric Stuebe "I do ordinary things for extraordinary reasons."
