I have an MNP 2-5, V.42 modem running with a 2400 baud data pump and I can't figure it out. If I run it as a regular 2400 baud modem, it works beautifully. But when I get an MNP connection, (MNP 4 error correction is all I have been able to find supported) the modem slows down to what seems like baout 10 baud! I have turned cts/rts flow control on and xon/xoff flow control off. The transmit error light is not coming on so I know it's not resending the packets. How can I fix this? I would really like to use the MNP features of the modem. Is there a possibility that my cable doesn't really support cts/rts flow control? How can I check? I am running on an XT clone. Once again, thanks... corywest
