(Positioning & text flow...) Message-ID: <1991May16.104532.754@csc.canterbury.ac.nz> Date: 15 May 91 22:45:30 GMT Organization: Computer Science,University of Canterbury,New Zealand Lines: 27 Nntp-Posting-Host: cosc.canterbury.ac.nz I have a (probably quite simple) question to do with text flowing around positioned paragraphs. I have a number of diagrams, some of which are large enough to create large blank space at the bottom of pages if they are pushed to the next page. What I want to do is position these (in print preview or similar) so that they will stay, for instance, in the center of a page while the text flows around and past it to fill in the blank gap at the bottom of the previous page. Unfortunately when I do this the text does not flow past onto the previous page it just flows around the positioned diagram - only half what I had in mind. Does anybody have suggestions - short of moving the text manually to the previous page (ie above diagram). Thanks, Raymond. -- Raymond Wilson. email: raymond@cosc.canterbury.ac.nz snail: c/- Computer Science Department, University of Canterbury, New Zealand.
