Subject: Need help with Colony

I am playing the game called Colony and I am having trouble getting out 
of the space ship. I am able to wear my armor suit and got thru the first 
airlock door. I cannot open the second airlock door ( I blew up) since
I have to close the first door. HOW DO I CLOSE THE FIRST AIRLOCK DOOR
BEFORE I OPEN THE SECOND? Then which way do I go to reach the colony.

Any spoiler from the game will be greatly appreciated.
