When I played the third time, the jouster would not respond to the keyboard until the timer finished and the jouster stopped flashing. If the flapping was done while the jouster was flashing, all the keystrokes are then spit out at blinding speed. Annoying, when the screen is filled with enemies. You cannot control it until the stored keystrokes are played out; you end up ramming yourself into an enemy jouster from below.
