Hardrive on Mac Classic 4/40 problem? Message-ID: <64148@bbn.BBN.COM> Date: 13 May 91 14:24:53 GMT Sender: news@bbn.com Distribution: comp Lines: 23 Hi, This is a strange one ... I took the Micropolis, 100Mb external HD from my Mac IIfx (its only drive on IIfx) and hooked it up on my Mac Classic with interal 40Mb hardrive. When I booted Classic, the ext. HD never got recognized or appeared on desktop. I used CDev tool SCSI Probe but it didn't recognize ext. HD either. I tried different cable, resetting pushable SCSI ID, SCSI terminators, etc. but the ext. HD was never recognized. Any suggestions?
