Hi netters,

Is it true that some country-bound (commercial) software will run in 
the U.S. and Canada but not in other countries like France, or Australia?
What makes the system/hardware that is not compatible? ROM? or just
the Apple's system software? or both?  or some other hardware in the Macs?
