According to the System 7 compatibility stack, Stuffit 1.5.1 and
Stuffit Classic 1.6 are totally incomaptible ("Must upgrade").

Is this true? If so, where can I get a replacement (short of
buying the "commercial" version)? Or has the stack just become
confused because Aladin used the same creator as for Stuffit
Deluxe?
