First, make sure you don't give your new icon a label. If you do (and it's not white) you will have a funny looking result. Any white in your color icon will be the label color. Obvious, but easy to overlook. Second, if the icon doesn't have a solid black border around it, you might not get the results you expect. I think this has something to do with the way the system calculates the mask for your icon. Whatever the reason, make sure there is a continuous black vorder around the icon before trying to use it. I'm not sure this is a problem, but some people have had it. Jon
