Paul Fagerness (72557.212@CompuServe.COM) has supplied the solution
to reading 9 track BRUKER NMR tapes directly on a 9 track drive on
an SGI with conversion to FELIX program binary format.

Thanks to all who gave help and advice (many more than I would have
guessed). Paul has given me permission to distribute the code, I can
e-mail a self unpacking shar file to anyone requesting it. He is also
going to contact Dennis Hare see about putting it on the gifts/sgi
directory of his NMR software distributions.
